The Last Door - Collector's Edition is a slow-burning Gothic point-and-click adventure with strong atmosphere and Lovecraftian storytelling that immerses players in a mystery filled with secret societies, crypts, and desolate environments. Players praise the compelling narrative, creepy ambiance, and excellent soundtrack, though some find puzzle solutions unintuitive and occasionally require a walkthrough. Most reviewers recommend the game highly, particularly suggesting getting both seasons together since season 2 continues directly from season 1's cliffhanger.
I absolutely recommend this game. It's slow burning, but the atmosphere that it creates is bleak but thick. It's an immersive story, with a very Edgar Allen Poe vibe. It has plenty of Gothic stapes: Secret Societies, empty mansions, desolate countryside, graveyards, crypts and a mystery at this game's core. Will you be able to solve it?

Really good point and click game! I'm excited to see what season 2 has to offer. The story is interesing and compelling, the atmosphere is very gothic and creepy, and the music is great. I will say the solutions to some of the puzzles can be really not intuitive (lookin at you lightbulb in episode 4) but I really don't have any qualms about using a walkthrough when I'm stuck so that really didn't slow me down
8/10 My first horror and point and click game ever played. Overall it was a really immersive experience, but I did get lost a few times. This is also a debut game for The Games Kitchen and they did a great job.
Episodic point & click in a horror lovecraftian setting. Intuitive puzzles and simple well crafted pixel art, each episode left me wanting for more. Getting the bundle with both seasons is hugely recommended, as season 2 resumes directly after season 1's ending. Having an opening play before each episode was a nice touch :D
