A fully realized concept with brain-smoothing gameplay -- there is nothing as satisfying as getting through a floor in under 30 seconds. Well, perhaps the post-credit gameplay after beating the final boss is a close second.

Great game when you just want something to play

Mullet Mad Jack is a run-and-gun FPS with a mindblowing thematic premise. Gameplaywise… whether you like it or not, will 100% depend on whether or not you like the game’s core mechanic… the one thing that makes it unique. See, in Mullet Mad Jack you have 10 seconds to live… and you get more seconds by killing enemies and smashing vending machines to get soda cans that buy you more time. The game says it’s more “about the flow” than about speed. But you really need to be pretty freaking fast and precise to make it through the levels. I tried playing the game in the standard difficulty and promptly got crushed within seconds in my first 10 attempts. So, I tried out the quasi-videogame-journalist-modes. It was still pretty freaking hectic, but I found it to be at least manageable. For an old rusty fart like me, it was still a non-stop dopamine infused assault on the senses in which you desperately take out enemy after enemy like a thot looking for likes and comments in social media. Which is not at all a bad analogy given the games thematic premise, but we’ll get into that.
