About A Western Drama
A Western Drama is an arcade audiogame with a deep story set in the American frontier of the nineteenth century, starring two bounty hunters, the young Wade and his master Drake.
As Wade, the player will have to face caravan thieves, robbers, cutthroats, mercenaries in violent shootouts and fast duels, trying to capture the four most dangerous criminals in the West and get to the heart of Wade's recurring nightmares.
Binaural audio allows players to live in a realistic world, without using any visual feedback. Through binaural audio, the player is immersed in a three dimensional audio world, that we have designed following the typical atmospheres of spaghetti western stories, full of characters, small outposts, dirt roads and cities.

An Audiogame with a classic Western story line. Reaction based controls with bite sized chapters. Graphics, none, it's and Audiogame, close your eyes and open your ears. Sound is where it is at, Western tune, fully voice acted to a high quality with decent sound effects. Great immersion. As someone who is Visually Impaired it fills me with happiness that games of this type are appearing on Steam, hopefully there will be more to come!41 found this helpful
Wow! A completely unique experience! A Western Drama is a game played completely by sound cues, it's truly immersive. Simple mechanics with arrow keys for direction and space bar for getting your bearings/shooting. I look forward to playing more games from this company!12 found this helpful
It's just "a game" of pressing left or right button. For instance, you hear a horse of your companion in the left ear so you have to press left button. Or you hear shots from the right so you press right button. Kinda insulting5 found this helpful
"Hurry up Wade" ad infinitum. After 20 minutes of this i quit the game.No matter how close i got to the voice nothing happened. I initially taught this will be an audio "pick your own adventure game" using simple controls but i was wrong. This is PURE TORTURE. You use the space bar to have some one shout the same 3 lines at you over and over again, then you need to navigate to a VERY precise point with not even a drop of mercy for progressing the story. The voice acting was wasted on this badly designed game.3 found this helpful
this game is well structured. A good story and a lesson to learn. support the developer and buy the Game and Enjoy!✌️
For an arcade-style audio game, I think this was done to perfection. Even though it's your traditional spaghetti western-style story, I thought it was absolutely amazing! I love finding audio games that are made this well. I was diagnosed with glaucoma about three years ago, but it has progressed very quickly over the last two years. I no longer have vision in my left eye, and I only have a very small amount of vision left in my right. I can still play regular visual games, but they're much harder now. Discovering the world of audio games has been incredible. Finding games that are so well made that they make you feel like you're playing a traditional game, just through sound, is such an enjoyable experience. Whenever I find audio games like this, I want to applaud the developers for creating them. I also hope more developers continue making great audio games for blind and visually impaired players. At the same time, I'd love to see more mainstream game developers like Nintendo, Sega, and Microsoft follow the example of Naughty Dog with The Last of Us Part II by including excellent accessibility options. That way, blind and visually impaired gamers can enjoy even more game…
