Colony Siege

This is a very satisfyingly frustrating TD. It's essentially a game where you try to figure out how to tank all the damage each wave. Spreading out all over the map is a fool's errand. You'll be turtling around your Citadel most of the time because the moment something does approach your base, the enemies will melt your defenses. Whatever is in the trailer doesn't really match reality. If you decide to make all these paths and set up all those turrets and traps, many enemies will leak through anyway and your base will be gone in seconds. And if a boss unit comes along, they'll tear through your defenses like butter. This isn't bad, but be aware you'll end up min-maxing and tweaking your base layout a lot. Fortunately, the game is very generous with recycling (100% cost return, even if the enemies destroy your buildings and units) and checkpointing (it saves each wave), so with just a bit of stuborness you'll find the right combination to get you through a particularly nasty wave. If you like TDs that really put you through a wringer, this one will definitely fit the bill. The game is not bad. The story also some mechanics and upgrades but. The game gives you a big map and the right to place towers wherever you want, but everything is too expensive and you end up doing the same thing on every level and the game starts to get repetitive. Each tower costs the same amount to upgrade as the same tower. A lot of things are either too expensive or not well balanced or useless. You can only use one perk and most are useless. At least the building skills don't cost you money, but they are quite expensive if you unlock them during battle. Flying enemies attack too hastily or ignore defenses or attack whatever they want and it becomes annoying to guard buildings because they have no defenses. And every time you have to go to the buildings because some little drone is attacking you. Some of the traps look more like towers. The money to buy towers, plane upgrades, traps, skills, and other things becomes useless pretty quickly. You switch to easy to unlock everything, normal for the bonuses, and by the middle everything is already bought. Other things like infinite levels or attacks are only pointless if you want everything 100%. The game is not bad but it needs…

Awesome game and graphics

Lovely little RTS defense game, has push pause as well if you're old and slow like I am. I really like the variety of tools you're given, it's not just towers you have vehicles and lots of active abilities you can get as well.

I had a lot of fun with this game. If you like tower defense, you will prob love this.
