Outworld Station

I think there's a good game in here somewhere, but the combat, mission system and ship building need to be fleshed out quite a bit for the game to live up to its promise.

The first part of the game is fine, but you start to feel it in the second half things start to fall apart. First you keeping hitting these intentional stalls where even when you have hit resource caps it still takes hours to produce enough resources to build the ships for the milestone. You start hitting the blueprint size cap and then the link length cap. Research goals are listed in weird order, sure I can research in any order within the milestone, but when gather uranium is at the top and carbon filters so you don't die from radiation is near the bottom it just feels unpolished. Then there is the whole ship thing. They give you the idea that you will control ships, but they really never materialize a purpose outside production goals. Even if you do get the idea to scout the map with them the UI is so bad and the ships die so quickly there is just no point. It makes so much sense to have a combat escort or scout the map or even just clear a minefield the hard way but none of that is there.

Decent and worth buying on sale. No replayability. I was on the fence for whether or not to recommend, but there are quite a few bugs for multiplayer: -- Machines not refunding -- Multi-select copy doesn't copy the links for non-host players -- Massive lag spikes when there's too many animations on the screen -- The productivity screen could be better (minor nuisance) The pipe progression is all wrong. You can upgrade refineries to output more than what the flow rate allows. I even tested out using multiple pipes from a single refinery and the overall output is capped at 300. So what is the point? Pipes mark 2 should come during refineries mark 2. You also burn through water like crazy just to satisfy missing 1 water. You HAVE to throttle the fetch/produce rates in order to somewhat fix this.

Concept is okay, but it’s not really the same as Factorio or Satisfactory. Belt management feels strange, and the endgame becomes quite a grind. It also gets pretty resource hungry on bigger saves. There’s basically zero replay value, which I actually appreciate since I don’t have to do it all again just for an achievement. Overall, decent and worth buying on sale.

OMG let me start off by saying what a brilliant job the developers of this game have because they have made a absolute masterpiece of a game there is nothing I don't like about this game it's so addictive I love the game every time I play it I can't wait to find out what more the developers can add to this game I am so excited thankyou trickjump games

I really like this one, but there is a problem where too much micro is needed if you want to make everything work smoothly. Yea, so there is not enough control to move things between different stations or the movement of goods is severely limited.
