Console: ROG Ally X Fun simple but yet challenging game that will keep you coming back for more. How far you make it will depend upon the ship upgrades that you choose. You can become powerful very fast if you choose the right upgrades. Plus for the price you can't go wrong. I wish I had a bigger following to get this game more support.

This is a really neat little game. It's basic but fun. For me it's the perfect game for when I just want to take my mind off things and run away from some shapes for a bit. It can get repetitive but the rougelike pick from 3 choices mechanic adds variety and whatever you choose always delivers a noticeable impact that feels good. For the cost of a taco it's worth picking up and spending an hour or two with.

Fun little bullet heaven roguelike that is challenging enough to keep you coming back for more. The three modes also add enough variety for a quick hour or so of gameplay that doesn't feel stale.

A simple yet extremely addicting game! At first it gives you the impression that you have the mechanics all figured out and that it'll be an easy experience, but that is gradually proven wrong the further you progress. Sure, you become more powerful with upgrades and enemies begin dropping likes flies, but lose focus for a second and you'll be swarmed from all sides. The last few minutes make this feel like the longest 17 minutes of my life as my heart is pounding and anxiety is through the roof from just trying to survive! The incredible sound design itself also contributes to this as the pace of the music kicks up with the unrelenting ever-evolving swarm encompassing you. Replay value is also high as well with the Infinite and Architect modes. It's one of those games you'll want to boot up in the morning to help give you that much needed jumpstart for the day. Most worthwhile $5 you'll ever spend for a nice quick dopamine rush. Who needs rollercoasters when you have Shape Swarm?
