30 psychedelic levels of adrenaline-pumping action. Fight a constant stream of terrifying insectoid aliens trying to stop you in your tracks. Choose from up to four kinds of spacecraft, and customize their look.
Features a 2-player local coop mode (second player will need their own game controller) either on one screen or split-screen.
This enhanced version introduces a number of modern features to this retro classic, including:

Players praise this as a fantastic arcade classic with great gameplay mechanics, but are frustrated by a critical save bug that wipes progress and settings on every restart, making it unplayable for extended sessions. Performance issues in borderless mode and crashes when loading save states further diminish the experience, though the core game itself is considered worthwhile for nostalgic fans despite these technical problems.
The game doesn't save anything. Your score and settings reset every time you boot it. It has save states (because this is actually an emulator) but it crashes when you load a save state, which means it has FEWER features than the original game from 1998 AND fewer features than a PSX emulator. If they fix this, I'll revise to thumbs-up, but they probably won't because it's been out for 2 years already.2 found this helpful
This was on steam before and then delisted, which I assumed was because of some sort of licensing issue since the soundtrack is mostly Crystal Method's Vegas album. To see it come back and with the soundtrack seemingly intact was a surprise but a welcome one. this land was green and good until the crystal cracked 10/10
