Memoryland Prelude

To be honest , I loved it ! Its a freaking amazing game, I would play more of this.

Despite this game feeling like a tech demo I really enjoy what the developer made so far. I'd like the idea for the combat system and that you summon the cards to help you by your side, that was a really refreshing and interesting take. Despite how short the game is I found myself enjoying every minute, and even with the fights varying from very easy to almost feels impossible I did find myself trying to make new strategies to actually beat them. The game might not be worth it at full price as it is only about 2-3 hours long with only about 3 maps, and while there is multiple different endings. My only big grape I have is that the story here is absolutely nonexistent, and the reason why it is my biggest gripe is because the beginning did have me interested enough to figure out what's going on only to find out that it's as bare bones as it gets. If there is any feedback I would give in this game is that it desperately needs a deck loadout system where you can save and load different deck recipes between fights. Having to dismantle your deck because some cards are absolutely useless versus certain monsters in the game becomes very tedious as you have to keep changing it over …

This game has genuinely found a way into my heart. I think there is something special here and I would love to see this be iterated on and or continued either through updates or a complete project. If you go in knowing that this project is more of a proof of concept then I think there is a lot of promise on display.
