Legends of Alterra

Can't say I am convinced of this game. Maybe that is the reason why I ask for an refund. I don't have anything against teen actors. But at last the story should be interesting. From the start this was split into 2 sections: a) a Princess with an ill mother and an gullible father. Add to that an consultant that also gives the Queen potions and soup to get her better (one look at her and you know she is anything than good) and because the Queen can't support the King needles him to finish the elves. b) a young girl living with father and step-mother...and guess what the father must go to war (against the elves) and ...oh you all know the problems with step-mothers in fairy tales. Maybe I am too harsh but that sound just too childish for me. But that's not all....The fights....I don't know if they got better later on...but ATM they are just a nuisance. It should be possible to interrupt the enemies....dunno doesn't work for me. In fights the best player is...the dog!!! Most times he kills the enemy in 1 round whereas the 2 playable characters don't do much damage. So the dog is fine....but not outside of fights. He runs wild around you and more than once blocked the way..

Good characters, dialogue and story.

I have really enjoyed it so far!
