What Steam players say

Players are deeply divided on this indie side-scroller. Supporters praise it as a brilliantly absurd satire with charming pixel art and creative madness that subverts expectations for its budget price, while detractors dismiss it as AI-generated garbage with terrible sound design, sluggish controls, and fundamental design incompetence. The game appears to work as either a comedic novelty or a waste of money depending entirely on the player's tolerance for intentional absurdity and technical jank.
Maybe I was raised differently. I'm not sure what it is, but whenever I'm on X / Twitter the absolute lack of respect people have for those better than them just upsets me. And it's not even aimed at me. It just bothers me. You know when you see these f*cking nobodies with no followers attacking a professional fighter Light-Heavyweight 4x kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate because he lost or making fun of a boxer or telling Elon Musk that he's not that smart as he puts rockets in space or complaining at Donald Trump while he saves the world and all these little f*cking nobodies are just sitting there with their opinions it just aggravates me. Who the f*ck are these people? When I was raised differently, you had to have respect for people, especially people who were surpassing is the world. Even basically every measurable human metric and you're sitting there with 58 followers just being arrogant and rude. "hahaha, f*ck you, haha" Is the world as f*cked now? It's just scummy and sh*tty. If you've never been in the ring, don't f*cking talk about going into a ring. Your opinion doesn't matter. Don't insult people who have that bravery. You do not of you ever pit rockets in space, d…8 found this helpful
Refunded. It's not even worth a dollar. I'm convinced this entire "game" was AI generated because no human would have made this and thought "yeah, people will find fun here". I would call it "Baby's First Side Scroller" but I firmly believe that even a baby can mash a keyboard into a prompt and generate a better game than this. The sound effects are the worst I've ever heard in a game. Want to hear AI sound effects of someone loudly kissing ass at about 10x the volume of everything else in the game, and hear it played like three or four times split seconds later? This is the game for you. Want to play the slowest character in video game history, whom looks like he is walking backwards when you're making him walk forwards because the developer is so incompetent that he doesn't know how to edit his AI code to make it look right? This is the game for you. Want to hunt for collectables put in random places to progress, while getting spammed by unavoidable projectiles so that you also have to hunt for the few health packs in the entire level, dying over and over until you memorize where the health packs and collectables are, in order to keep the digital ♥♥♥♥-and-ball torture going?…2 found this helpful
“The most unexpectedly brilliant indie gem of the year – a chaotic love letter to freedom, aliens, and Elon Musk's eccentricity!” I went into Elon Musk Saves Britain expecting a cheap meme game. I came out changed. This is not just a game—it's a fever dream soaked in satire, love, and pixel-art patriotism. And I loved every second of it. Aliens have invaded Britain. Democracy is collapsing. Fish & chips are now considered contraband. Who do we call? Not the King. Not the PM. No, we call Elon Musk—armed with an AI-powered jetpack, a tea-powered railgun, and a Union Jack face mask that somehow grants immunity to mind-control waves. This is the kind of absurd narrative confidence you'd expect from a AAA satire series, but it’s executed here with indie charm and total creative madness. The game doesn't explain why Elon is here. It doesn't have to. The vibes are immaculate. At first glance, EMSB plays like a retro-style side-scrolling shooter mixed with light RPG and tower defense elements. But it quickly evolves into something more. The pixel art is gorgeous. Yes, it leans into meme territory (Trump wearing the gimp mask is real and glorious), but the environments are lovingly detai…2 found this helpful
