The combat is very abrupt. They definitely didn't waste any time on the animations. The actual game mechanics are pretty good, if shallow. It feels like a clicker game instead of a strategy game. Also, encountering random options right at the start that are not useable at-all is not good design. https://youtu.be/FIoYt326YhY
