Escape From Duckov

Bottom line: Great from the get-go, relatively fun for 15-25 hours, turns repetitive, grind, disappointing ending. Did two loops, one in vanilla and one in 3rd person (modded) settings. Dopamine hits real hard during the initial phase(s) of the game(s). Play, new stuff, loot, happy, repeat. Relatively engaging when you start exploring, not necessary the whole game though, gets staler over time unfortunately. Understand that repetitions is inherently the core concept in extraction-esque titles but, I would say EFD turns out to be rather tedious from the halfway ~ 3/4 point. Mainly because many aspects of the game became determinable even with pseudo-dynamic loot and enemy spawn locations. Items and mobs you find are practically the same most of the time, not much variations. New items drops from time to time but, I don't think it warrants the grind especially if you are a player that played till the end. Sure, there are mobs that spawn when certain conditions (Rain, night, storm, etc) are met but, irrelevant to most extent in regards of progression; just one run and you're done for that mob. 100% in ~67 hours Great game that I bought randomly. I would recommend anyone looking to 100% to install a couple of mods to improve their QOL (quest markers, and boss markers to speed up runs near the end of the game).

Sneaking around, hoarding glorious loot, and dodging bullets as a tactical duck? Fascinating! Every successful extraction brings me one step closer to ultimate supremacy, even if those wretched rebel birds occasionally send me packing back to the loading screen! Do not let its silly exterior fool you, you incompetent buffoons! The weapon customization, the tense firefights, and the sheer rush of escaping with your pockets full of stolen goods are darker and more intoxicating than dark magic itself! While the developers foolishly neglected to include native controller support, even a feeble-minded mortal can remedy this!
