Lies of P

[h1]Not a bad game, but nowhere near the FromSoftware games[/h1] I went into Lies of P with fairly high expectations. It is constantly praised as one of the best Soulslikes and often compared to FromSoftware's games. After playing through most of it, however, I honestly don't understand the level of praise. There are definitely things I like. The presentation is good, Krat has a strong visual identity, and the Belle Époque setting mixed with dark fantasy and puppets is interesting. The weapon system, upgrades, P-Organ and weapon combinations are well thought out, and the Pinocchio reinterpretation is a cool premise. The characters and themes are another positive. Some characters are genuinely interesting and can create an emotional connection, while others remain bland or simply serve a specific purpose. The story itself is interesting, although I skipped quite a lot of dialogue because some NPCs talk a lot without saying much. There are also plenty of texts and notes, but I never felt interested in reading them. Fortunately, you understand enough about the world without them. Careful on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bridges

Lies of Peak. I LOVE this game. I´m on my third play through. Currently on last dlc boss. I absolutely love the perfect guard mechanic. The story and the npc are so easy to get into and you want to know more of the story of each npc. Absolutely reccomend this game!!
