Super Loco World - Cozy Train Automation

A well intentioned game and I love the premise of it, but admittedly I had to stop playing after trying campaign mode twice with little success due to the lack of information in the UI about the setup you have configured. The game isn't fun anymore when it's difficult to understand why things have gone wrong, and you become frustrated when it becomes easier to restart than to make small incremental tweaks to your existing setup. Not being able to see the carriage types or the train's load by clicking on the train is a huge loss. I'd also want to see my planned point to point routes for any given train without automating the setup just as a way to try and figure out how my routes interlink, crossover, or conflict as your world grows. I'll come back to this game and I would recommend it for those that aren't so bothered by the points I've raised. I really enjoy it when things are working, and gradually increasing in manageable complexity, but I long for UX improvements so that we can properly strategise.

What should be a "cozy" little game turns out to be incredibly frustrating with a UI which is unfortuantely clunky and unintuative. I hope the dev continues to update this game and fixes the UI as it really holds back this game!

good game, I enjoyed optimising my train routes and figuring out the best set up. game itself is solid, you work towards building this machine to resurface an island, but then the story just stops dead. unfortunately I found this very underwhelming, you can keep playing after the fact working on your routes and such but it feels aimless without a real goal to it. i reset a few times after messing up, i found that easier than restructuring everything, and despite repeating i only managed about 6 hours of game time before beating the main goal. overall i cant say its worth the money unless you are into organising without any real goal other than efficiency for the sake of it.

Seems like a good game, but just doesn't make much fun since it is way to CLUNKY. You can't even RENAME a train when it is not in the depot, which is important for certain signals. The UI and controls are not done well and on the steam deck they're just bad.

Its no transport fever or Railroads but its somewhat decent, UI and train signaling needs a lot of work. Its very easy misclicking switches or trains making it possible to create some unnecessary moves. 3/10.

This game is a lot like Station to Station and rail tycoon but Way better. And more cozy as well!
