What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
KARMA: The Dark World is a psychological horror experience heavy on story and atmosphere rather than traditional survival gameplay, with an engaging soundtrack and unique visuals that players find artistically compelling. However, the game is divisive and experimental in nature—some players praise its thought-provoking narrative and artistic direction, while others find it pretentious or unclear with its objectives and puzzle design.
This game is certainly not for everyone. I got this game on sale as a bundle with Cronos: The New Dawn so I didn't really know what to expect from it. It's certainly a change of pace from the typical survival horror as this game is heavy on the phycological horror side instead. The gameplay is definitely mostly story driven and heavy on cutscenes towards the later part of the game. There were a few moments where the puzzles and objectives were unclear on what you were supposed to do but other than that the storyline, soundtrack and unique visuals make up for it in my opinion. Overall, it was a pretty good experience (8.5/10)2 found this helpful
This is the most pretentious piece of ♥♥♥♥ i have ever played. DON'T BUY IT!!!1 found this helpful

Great game - can be cryptic at times but it's extremely thought provoking and well done.
If you like Twin Peaks and 1984, please buy this game. I was amazed how good it was!
- Very engaging. - Very varied. - Very crazy. - Quite "Observer"-esque. - Good-looking. - Very trippy. - A piece of art.
