Indivisible is an action RPG platformer featuring stunning hand drawn art and animation combined with unique real-time combat mechanics.

Immerse yourself in a fantastical world with dozens of playable characters, a rich storytelling experience, gameplay that’s easy to learn but difficult to master, and the trademark razor-sharp quality that Lab Zero Games is known for!

Our story revolves around Ajna, a fearless girl with a rebellious streak. Raised by her father on the outskirts of their rural town, her life is thrown into chaos when her home is attacked, and a mysterious power awakens within her.

The game’s huge fantasy world, characters and aesthetic design are inspired by various cultures and mythologies. Throughout Ajna’s quest she’ll encounter many “Incarnations”: people whom she can absorb and manifest to fight alongside her.

There are many Incarnations to recruit, each with their own story and personality. By uniting people from faraway lands, Ajna will learn about herself, the world she inhabits, and most importantly, how to save it.

✦ AI summary

Indivisible combines real-time party-based combat with Metroidvania platforming in a stylish anime-inspired package that appeals to fans of action RPGs like Valkyrie Profile, though the execution of both gameplay elements feels uneven to some players. While the diverse character roster and combat system draw praise from those who connect with its design, others find the story forgettable, the writing dated, and the hybrid gameplay lacking depth in either direction.

Dove into this game because apparently it's similar to Valkyrie Profile 2. Glad I did because I found a new favorite gem. I really loved the main focus of the gameplay here which are the combat and platforming. Combat has you fight with each party member represented by single face button on the controller. With that idea there, it essentially fulfilled a game dream of mine. That being a party adventurers fighting together in real time with action combat. That's where the Valkyrie Profile 2 mention comes in. I've been trying to find games that fit that little dream of mine. And I found that here with Indivisible. That's all to say I think the combat is fantastic. To me it never got old because of how many and diverse the characters are here. So you can easily swap around characters to make yourself some exciting combo strings with each of them. Platforming here is excellent too. Tough and really rewarding with how far you can go to get into little secret areas. And all this plays out with just gorgeous animation and visual style. Love that this world is mostly just fantasy south and southeast Asia. All the characters in your party and throughout the world had such fun de…

I got it for $3 and got 3 hours out of it before I gave up. Bad Millennial writing and bland characters with a cliche story setup. I mostly gave it a shot because I like the other franchises that had guest characters in the game. Never made it to any of them though. The gameplay is a mix of Metriodvania and turn-based RPGs, but it does neither element very well. I'm not too mad since it was on a deep discount, but I don't really recommend it even at that price.

A great dive into Japanese anime culture, my daughter likes it. Not the greatest game ever made, but a decent romp and has enough comedy directed and young kids to keep you engaged. Recommended ages 8-12 and people are who fans of Japanese art style and B-movie corny story telling.
