Looks gorgeous... feels bad. I bought this back in the day cus I felt bad about pirating it but couldn't bring myself to ever finish it before or after purchasing. I love the art though and am glad my money was well spent on nice visuals.4 found this helpful
I really enjoyed it. But it is inexplicably flawed with leveling up. If you choose the wrong stats, you more than likely won't be able to finish the game. I mean for Wyatt, if you don't spend all your upgrade points to STR, boss fights will literally take 50 minutes each, but if you do, they will be 2-5 minutes depending on the boss. 🤷🏻♂️ I still recommend this game to support the developer, and the fact it was made using Game Maker Studio v1.4 😁2 found this helpful
Great game! :D
Story don't make much sense, combat its just smashing buttons and enemies/bosses are so stupidly and annoyingly accurate in all their attacks so you can land and be juggled in the air for that sweet extra damage almost every time (even when blocking) and its not even funny or "challenging", its just frustrating..... .... And its not a "skill issue" as I have beaten Astlibra, Fallen Tear, Rebel Transmute Monster Sanctuary, Touhou Luna Nights, Blade Chimera, Nine Sols and many many other Metroidvanias out there.... 1st Metroidvania I rage quit...
only can play by keyboard , can't use controller
A really cool brawler-metroidvania with a surprisingly interesting cast & story. This isn't super combo focused, but it still has a very high skillcap and it's designed around you getting better (for example, you get graded on bosses based on how much you get hit, how fast you hit them, if you needed to use healing items etc). Overall one of my favorite games and i'm really glad it got a sequel.
