The House in Fata Morgana: A Requiem for Innocence

Spoilers: Actual slop. For the writer to write Morgana as a 9-12 year old and have the main character be "in love with her" and to write her in a manner where should would be at minimum a super intelligent late teen with how she spoke and thought, seems more like commentary on the writers own perversions about what he wants a child to be. Most of the first half of the story was alright but there were so many ways that this could have been made infinitely better, including but not limited too when dude gets power and he just forgets for a year or two to go look for the "child he is in love with" then when they find someone matching the child he's just like "hey crazy murderer guy go bring the person to me that most likely matches the "child ive been in love with". The cutting of her arm literally makes no sense, its literally like the dude wrote all this and took time then just patched a few things together at the end. But most of it is contrived and all of it had so much more potential. I literally feel like writing my own fan fiction to replace this garbage and calling it something else so people could read a proper prequel, not just some child SA fantasy which none aligns wit…

I love the prequel. Even though we already get to know Morgana's backstory in the base game, this one connects you more deeply to Morgana, and especially to Jacopo. You'll understand Jacopo complexity better through his story, accompanied by some very beautiful background music. Anyhow, it's pretty engaging for a prologue. There are also some great reveals that always managed to surprise me. But I can't really say whether it's really worth the price, because at some point, the storytelling gets a little repetitive. (I refunded it and decided to read the rest through YT.)
