In my opinion, this is by far the worst Atlus game... The art style and the entire beginning are promising, but at some point it just gets too dull, monotonous (especially the soundtrack), and in my opinion, the story is just unbelievably poorly written. Unfortunately, this is exactly the kind of game (or story) that keeps telling you how evil the world is, but never really shows it to you. You’re constantly told that no one likes your race, but in the end, everyone talks to you anyway. The world never shows you what the characters tell you about it. The characters aren’t written in an engaging way, they make stupid decisions, and the relationships are very generic. The Press Turn combat system is generally fun, but with these archetypes, it’s really boring. You just mindlessly level up all classes and switch to the best one for each dungeon, there’s absolutely no variety. The dungeon design also gets repetitive way too quickly.

TLDR: While the game holds lots of promise. I can't, in good faith, recommend this to anyone when vastly superior games exist from ATLUS (Persona series) or other developers (Expedition 33). Please go play those games instead, only bother with this game if it is for less than 20$. The premise of the game is interesting and it does hook you in when you start it. The character designs are also very varied and well created, fitting the fantasy theme the game is going for. I also found the combat system to far more fleshed out compared to previous ATLUS titles and the ability to just one shot enemies without going into the turn based battles if they're too weak to be a very welcome change that definitely helped with making the dungeons more enjoyable. However, the game has very glaring weaknesses that are honestly hard to ignore, and I had the feeling of "I can't wait to finish this game" after the events in early September. 1. The followers/ social links are extremely boring and generic except maybe one or two, and I genuinely felt zero connection to any of them due to how badly they were written. It doesn't help at all that only the first and last levels were voiced while the res…

good but it does go dry in the last quarter - it doesn't end as strong a it starts - but i would say that it is a very good game overall but requires a bit of self control to finish the game lol

this game is beautiful . UI, Graphics, music and Story are perfect! I really loved and I see myself doing a rerun of this in some time

If you ever wanted to feel like a high school student running around in dark dank tunnels that are actually a metafor for suffering, this game is not that game. This is another game, which is also a metafor for suffering, except it's explained a lot.
