I avoided any possible spoiler about this game for almost two years as I like buying games at a huge discount. The first time I played it, I went with my gut, knowing the time management I needed typically for a Persona game. I missed a lot of things, namely beetle-related, but it didn't matter to me for I know I'm going to replay the game with hindsight in New Game+. And even with that hindsight and mastered archetypes, the final boss, at its truest state, still whooped my ass with ease before I really strategized and locked in. But I digress. Without getting into the nitty gritty of things, this has got to be one of the deepest, richest games ATLUS/SEGA ever produced, and I feel that its message, however lofty it is, will reach the right people. Every day I played I learn not just about the expansive lore they created, but also references upon references. From art, philosophy, rhetoric and literature, history and the classics, to the law of the land—all of these are what make up humanities. This game combined combat mechanics in SMT and daily system n narrative in persona series but less pressure on the daily activity choice. And the musics is amazing suits the world perfectly

Good early game, and then a sharp decline into a mediocre game, with repetitive combat and no variety in builds; just play 60 hours and watch the ending on YouTube. Social links are good with a good cast of characters and a great villain, just a game that is weighed down by its combat
