VERY GOOD GAME

FUN GAME short but worth price

I like. Not super long but was fun

This is a game that accomplishes what it sets out to do, and that is, being an incredible, action focused, boss battler. The premise is simple, the kingdom has been brought to ruin by a witch, and as the sole survivor of her massacre, you set out to confront her. What follows is over a dozen of nail-bitting fights with bosses that outclass you in speed, size and strength. All you got is a knife and your tenacity to push through death after death. Each death giving you a clearer picture of enemy patterns, as you dodge and counterattack every window possible. These fights will demand mastery of you, but you will get there, and will cheer after bringing one more enemy down as you draw closer to the game´s finale. The devs have done a great job with this one and look forward to see what they cook up next.

didnt bother with NG+, but the first run was extremely fun. All bosses are extremely fair and no deaths ever felt unfair. Also, the main combat charging/countering systems are easy to understand and feel great to pull off.

This is a great game - listen to the positive reviews. Buy this if you enjoy action games, boss rushes, and... rhythm games. The combat is carefully metronomed around a designated yin and yang between you and the enemy. You should pick it up relatively quickly if you're into pattern recognition. There's limited visual noise, and the sound cues are great at signaling when to dart, counter, or dodge. You will absolutely enjoy this if you're the type of player who easily locks into a "flow" state. If you aren't, I don't think you'll enjoy it nearly as much. My personal cons: Music & Story: Both are a bit underwhelming, but they fit the tropes the game is aiming for. Build Variety: I'm not convinced the game truly rewards experimentation. The abilities on offer don't feel built for variety—one or two bosses demand specific tools, while the rest feel entirely balanced around the explosive blade. Similarly, the talismans (charms, notches, pins, whatever you want to call them) are pretty lackluster. I stuck to a pure DPS build and never felt a reason to touch the rest. A lot of charms also become unviable in the final 25% of the game, where the health mechanic becomes the ove…
