Weapon Shop Fantasy

Not really sure what to think of this game. It's not technically bad, but it's not necessarily good either. You build stations, you tell your staff what to produce while other staff goes through adventures to collect materials. It demands too much attention to be a proper idler and there's not enough to entertain you to have a proper gameplay loop of sorts. I did appreciate it for the retro vibes and I do see it being a fun little thing to come back to occasionally to waste an hour or two, but other than that I can't say that it's worth the full price. Do consider getting it during a sale, though.

It's just an exhausting grind, and non-stop slog of doing the same thing over and over and over and over again, with a tiny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ production queue (no more than 3 items *after* the first upgrade) so you have to keep clicking on the crafting tables over and over and over and over to keep the base items coming. Auto-crafting certain items? That's an upgrade that's locked behind a sizeable chunk of money. Also: RPG elements? What? What the ♥♥♥♥? The characters have stats that go up depending on what they do. They have stats. If the author of this game thinks that 'have stats in the game == RPG elements' then Doom has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RPG elements. Very unoriginal idea ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by incredibly poor implementation. I can only assume that the positive reviews are from people who have never played any other videogames, ever. This company shouldn't be let near the steam store ever again.

A simple resource management games. You start the game slow, but by time it will be better. Put someone for each jobs and go to travel to get material. For better experience, use the Auto Battle/Adventure Mod :D

actual bad game

Quite fun, auto battler with management. From positives - it has simple fun gameplay loop, and retro rpg vibes. From cons - no kb support, random quests for unlocking recipes tend to block you from progressing, rng seems brutal sometimes. Still I enjoyed the game, will most likely play it some more.

There ended up being a lot more to this game than I expected! I went into it anticipating a pretty bare-bones incremental shop game, but instead got a surprisingly involved story about a vampire out for revenge opening a shop to pay off debt while balancing a political situation between two warring nations. All of the NPCs are named characters with backstories, and the gameplay has way more depth than I thought it would. I ended up feeling like it was a little gem in the indie shop sim scene. It’s definitely a pretty basic gameplay loop — my memory is it all takes place on a single screen — but the care and odd depth to the story and setting take it above something like Anvil Saga. It reminds me a bit of Unholy Heights in that it takes the genre beats and makes then new again by caring a lot and doing something strange and unusual with them. Unfortunately I played it a very long time ago and don’t have a ton more to say, but I still think about it fondly!
