20xx is a game with good gameplay and music that is unfortunately ruined by design decisions anti-thematical to the roguelite genre. 1. Your currency for unlocking permanent upgrades doesn't carry over between runs. Yes you read that correctly. Either you gained enough soul chips during a run to unlock something or you unlock nothing and hope to do better on the next run. 2. No permanent upgrades list. You can neither view your unlocked upgrades in clarity nor plan ahead for future ones. Instead of a list, there's a permanent upgrades area at the hub that will give you 3 options for upgrades. That's it. I've never come across this in any roguelite... ever. There's always a clear list of upgrades and your currency is always secure. Only get this game if the above issues aren't issues to you.1 found this helpful
Good game!
Really, really good. Closest thing we'll get to a true megaman X follow-up. This is a 9/10 but 30XX is a 10/10. Get both.
I can't say I played a ton of this game, but from first impressions alone it just feels like a lazy flash port version of a Mega Man X game. Now for the price? Sure I guess it's fine, but I don't know man. Compared to other rougelikes I've played this one just doesnt hit it. The level design feels too open and plain
Great rogue-like Mega Man X clone
i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game with every bit of my body
