There's no AI, the opponent moves its pieces randomly. There are no promotions. Only two sets of tiles (traditional and move patterns), one board, and one sound track.21 found this helpful
Complete ♥♥♥♥ not even worth a dollar, unresponsive, ugly, no sound. Pieces don't even move can't tell if it is programmed to even move the pieces at all!. Buy an English puzzle book online if you really want to learn shogi. You would even be better off finding free puzzles and basic information online!14 found this helpful

I don't know if anyone actually play Shogi in real life like this, because that would be too boring. The advantage of taking the first move is huge. Also, you are not gonna see clever moves played by the AI, it don't even know how to protect its king! If you are really interested in Shogi, download an APP on Google Play would be definitely a better choice.3 found this helpful
