SORA MY SISTER WIFE 😭😭😭😭

This is the "bonus" episode of the 9-nine- series. At this point, you've probably gotten attached to the cast, and are looking forward to wrapping up the series with this final episode. Unfortunately, reading this episode might have the opposite effect. Probably the biggest reason is the length, which simultaneously feels too long and too short. This episode is divided into five parts, about one hour each. Every heroine gets one part, except Miyako, who gets two. Each part has two stories, the first solving an issue, and the second is slice-of-life. Not only is every story short, it's also only told halfway, then it abruptly stops and the rest is quickly summarized. I have no idea why they did this, because it feels like the worst of both worlds. Either take the time to write a full story, or don't waste the reader's time. Even if you're a big fan of the 9-nine- series, I recommend skipping this. You're really not missing out on much.

A nice epilogue to the 9-nine series.

The climax of Volume 4 may have wrapped up the main conflict, but there’s still one last task remaining, which is cleaning up the aftermath. Even though the villain has been defeated, not everything is completely settled. One issue still needs to be dealt with, the one bad ending that hasn't been removed from the timeline. Otherwise a certain character will go down and definitely cause trouble, probably? I think yoichi will definitely do something in this timeline at least. Addressing this branch helps solidifies Miyako. Personally, I’ve always felt that Volume 1 is the weakest entry in the series as it spends a lot of time laying down the foundation and developing the relationship between Miyako and the mc which unfortunately leaves Miyako without enough individual character growth. This installment feels like a proper return that makes her pretty relevant. It also reaffirms that the mc's decisions throughout his journey. This volume also takes the time to resolve other loose ends, including giving more clarity to Takamine's motivations. After wrapping up this branch, this episode then delivers a set of stories featuring each heroine in their respective routes. Just like in their …

A nice way to close the whole thing.

It has been a great journey to read 9-nine until the end. Although the content of this part is mostly after story of each branch, I do feel bittersweet to say goodbye to the 9-nine universe. Overall I rate 9-nine as 9/10 👍
