Great game that adds some extra layers to Aaero's gameplay, but sadly takes away about as much as it gives. + Co-op is really fun + Added complexity with changes to enemy fire and firing system + Solid bank of challenging tracks - Leaderboards and high scores frequently crash - I miss lasers - Difficulty (in terms of scoring, not necessarily the maps) seems to be a lot gentler, with things like magnetic ribbons and respawns lingering way too late into the game's progression Mainly leaving a review to point out that the leaderboards need some serious work - they are the lifeblood of a good rhythm game and the active, supportive, challenging leaderboard scene in the original Aaero was something to cherish. Finishing a map to be met with crashed/empty leaderboards sucks so much motivation out of the game and I've heard many Aaero fans say the same, often even sticking around in the original. Love these games and the devs that made them. I hope they can reconnect some of the secret sauce from Aaero (and even Salvage/SineWave, I see the nods in there!) and reconnect the old leaderboard rivalries in the process.1 found this helpful
