Acid Spy

This game is a good example on how a predefined set of good mechanics can be all a game would need. You know what you have to work with, and you can give in to the fantasy of a badass agent. It has very fun movement and parkour; though It does require some skill to master it, once you know how to do it, it becomes incredibly fun. In the end, I must say that this game serves as a great starting point for a bigger game project. Kudos to the maker/makers.

Beautiful game. Ruined by need-to-be-perfectly-timed-double-jumps. (Cheat Engine for unlimited ammo made it more fun.)

Great little game.

Pros: Interesting gameplay at first, clearing out rooms without being noticed, parkour and stealth Cons: very repetitive and can get boring rather quickly Conclusion: has potential, just needs more diversity in its game play to keep it fresh 5/10

Where Acid Spy lacks in it's graphics is made up for and exceeded in it's game play, fast paced stealth is incredibly hard to find these days and it's great to see the way the developers pulled it off, the movement tech is fun, deep, but not to complicated to figure out. It breaks the trend in most stealth games where they force you to take the more methodical approach and allows you to rather enter a flow state of hit and running, if you're fast enough you'll be able to finish a level before any of the guards start to really pick up on your presence, with that said the methodical approach is in no way discouraged, you may choose to hide bodies and utilise your gun a lot more. Acid Spy is a game I wish there were more of and it's a shame to see it's flown under the radar.
