About Adventures at the North Pole
In this hidden object game, you will have to follow in the footsteps of a vanished polar expedition. Look for snow-covered tracks, collect evidence at the site of abandoned parking lots, communicate with Eskimo leaders and shamans, and find out what happened to the ship "Silent", its crew and captain.
The Age Of Great Polar Exploration. The Arctic is the last white spot on the world map, expeditions are sent one after another. In the most difficult conditions, the brave men penetrate deeper into the realm of eternal cold. They go into the ice for years, left to themselves, without the opportunity to send a message to the Mainland and forced to rely only on their own strength. When the expedition successfully returns to its homeland, its participants become national heroes. But this does not always happen. Sometimes ships disappear forever among the endless ice and the fate of their teams remains unknown sometimes for many decades.

Adventures at the North Pole is yet another asset flip/construction kit template copy+paste from serial Russian shovelware asset flippers, Dnovel/FreeAnimals_Software/Trinity Project/My Way Games. These guys (or just one guy flipping accounts to mislead gamers) do nothing but copy asset store assets and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. Today's "effort" from these guys is Adventures at the North Pole, and it's a garbage mobile app-like hidden object puzzle game slapped together by copying + pasting other people's code for the godawful Cocos2D game development engine. As a game, it's terrible, of course. It's a short, limited experience of clicking on arctic themed hidden objects... it's so bad it makes Artifex Mundi mobile apps look like masterpieces. But as usual from this Russian scammer, the objective is not to make a game for gamers, it's to get your money for someone else's work. For those reasons, this is below a…7 found this helpful
Pro's: - The achievements work Con's: - Not challenging - Crashes - Has game breaking bugs 3/10 would not recommend3 found this helpful
Very.. an ambiguous game. It differs from other puzzle games in complexity. It wasn't easy for me to find all the details (even though you know how much I love doing it, damn it) At the first level, after clicking on the desired model, it appeared as found. Even the achievement of Steam was given! But, the game did not pass on to the next level. Only restarting the game helped, then everything started working correctly. It was interesting. The atmosphere of the game completely conveys the feeling. The musical accompaniment is also on the level.1 found this helpful
Cute little seek and find game. Exactly what it set out to be. Short, but thats expected for early release. The only thing I would change is the music gets grating at a point, and it is really loud at the beginning when it loops. Wait for full release to buy, as I cannot in good conscience recommend this to anyone expecting more than 6 minutes of gameplay. I was originally positive, but after playing another one of their games I am not sure if they will even finish this.
Please DO NOT BUY THIS... If you want to experience the game, just look at the trailer and images, because that's basically the whole game. Unlike the screenshots and trailer however, when it comes to the actual game it's pretty broken and unplayable, UNLESS you tweak the files, but you shouldn't need to mess with stuff to get it to work... Although the game should now be 'playable' (I'm using that definition loosely), you're gonna be greeted by a bunch of errors, but hey... It's at least playable now! In terms of length 2-5 minutes..? This game is nowhere near worth the amount of money they're asking for, heck I would hesitate to say it's worth it as a free product... The developers haven't worked on this for 2 years, despite the game being in Early Access and the development being continued talked about in the game itself. This isn't their first rodeo though, as another game of theirs is just as broken and extremely unfinished, so don't expect a fix nor further fleshing out.
