About Alchemist: The Garden
You find yourself in a strange garden. You aren't sure how you got here but you know what you must do, escape! If you can. Alchemist: The Garden is a first-person puzzle game with one goal, to leave. The path is simple, but nothing is as easy as it seems. Do your best to figure your way to freedom. Learn the rules of the garden if you wish to escape. Once you have figured out how to leave the garden, challenge yourself to see how quickly you can leave. Caution - this game is simple but challenging!
Alchemist: The Garden is a first person, open world escape room. This place is supposed to be safe, but then again, you aren't supposed to be there. So safety is not guaranteed. You can save your progress but be warned, there is a single save slot. And if you wish to beat the game with a high score, you must beat it without saving. It can take roughly 15 minutes, but that is easier said then done. Explore the garden, unlock its secrets, and see how fast you can escape.

I don't know if I am missing something but this game just did not work when I tried to play it. I ended up spending more time under the map than in the game itself and was unsure how to get past the first puzzle. whenever I would get hit by an enemy I would end up under the map and I don't want to believe that this was the intended interaction. I would be interested to give this another chance with some fixes in place and maybe a bit more of a sense of direction. If some fixes are put in place I can see changing this to a recommended but for now it just doesn't work so I can't recommend it. If you decide to go back to this or you want to use this knowledge for your your next project. I hope that this was a helpful learning experience and that your future projects see success.2 found this helpful
