First of all, I just wanted to say that the game is really cool! I’ve played demo before. It something between casual and more complex rpg/colony sim game. Not what you regularly see nowadays. Good: - Visuals, I just like how toon shader and lowpoly models look in game. Reminds me of last Zelda games - Music, really gives you this atmosphere of medieval times, also liked how it changes depending on conditions (location, nearby enemy and raids) - It is cool things, that npc is interactive, they build, execute your task, even fight with you. You like a part of this small society. I hope, amount of interactions will be increased! - A lot of items on chests in islands, love to get loot, some of them are very gorgeous. Bad: - To easy for me, but Im sure there will be more casual alike gamers here that would like this game - Not so many to build or progress in main location at this point. I want something like a research tree, some craft processes, etc. - Lack of active abilities - Im not sure, maybe later on bigger level it would be more hard, but for now I see lack on enemies count, they difficulty and amount of what they can do. I’ve seen some thoughts about it on roadmap, so guess…9 found this helpful
At first, I was a bit lost—the game doesn’t explain everything clearly, and it took me a while to figure things out. But after about an hour, it all started to make sense, and I got really into it. The gameplay is super chill and satisfying once you get the hang of it. If you’re patient and like calm, slow-paced games, give this one a shot. It gets way better once you learn the mechanics!4 found this helpful
Had to refund it. Was buggy and not as promised Edit after someone requested it: 1. You want to build something and the mouse suddenly has VERY DIFFERENT settings while not in the build menu 2. Even If I focus to build something the object jumps away a few tiles. 3. The villagers are only buidling If you are in the base (which is CLEARLY Not what i expected). I had 7 or 8 villagers which had a lot time and material to build and smelt and after that build the anvil and did nothing? 4. "Minor thing"- can only say for German - dont know which tool you use for translation but they are odd..(ask in the Community for Help - its Not a shame but in this case auto Translation is Not helpful 5. Minor thing 2: in the descriptions(If you Open a villager - the font sizes are weird to read. 6. Minor thing 3: ADD a "take all"/"Put all" Button for one Ressourcen (the slider is nice but for dropping all not a good solution) Hope it helps and dont offend you as a dev3 found this helpful
Aldo: Memory of the Kingdom is a fantasy survival and colony-building adventure that blends several gameplay styles into one surprisingly relaxing experience. Developed and published by Meleiko, the game combines exploration, settlement management, resource gathering, crafting, and light action combat into a world that constantly encourages players to improve and expand their kingdom. What makes the game immediately appealing is its calm atmosphere and rewarding sense of progression. Rather than focusing on nonstop action or highly competitive mechanics, it delivers a slower and more peaceful adventure built around creativity, exploration, and rebuilding a fallen settlement. The game’s world has a cozy and inviting style that fits the gameplay perfectly. Its colorful low-poly visuals may appear simple at first glance, but the artistic direction gives the environments a lot of personality. Islands are filled with forests, ruins, open coastlines, and hidden locations that make exploration consistently enjoyable. There is a pleasant sense of discovery while traveling through the world because every new area can contain valuable resources, survivors, or treasures that help strengthen …1 found this helpful
