Altitude is a fast paced multiplayer aerial combat game where I control a small aircraft and compete against other players in colourful 2D arenas. The controls are easy to understand, but the movement gives the game much more depth than I initially expect. I can climb, dive, turn sharply and use the momentum of my plane to get into better positions during a fight. The flying is easily my favourite part. The planes feel responsive, and learning how to control my speed and direction is important if I want to survive against experienced players. I cannot simply point at an enemy and keep firing because good movement is often what separates a successful attack from an easy death. The game also gives me several different aircraft to experiment with. Each plane has its own characteristics, weapons and abilities, so I can find one that suits the way I like to play. There are also different weapon combinations and power-ups that can change how a match develops, which gives the combat a little more variety than the basic controls suggest. The multiplayer modes are where Altitude really shines. I can play traditional team battles, capture objectives and take part in other competitive matc…

This game is old enough to drive and the developers still keep it working on modern hardware and operating systems. It's a simple game, but still fun, especially if you are nostalgic for circa 2010 era flash games

Altitude is one of those small 2D games you don't expect much from and end up sinking way more hours into than you thought The mechanics are dead simple to pick up, but the different ship types are really well designed, each one actually changes how you play. PvP was where the game really shined for me, had so many good laughs in matches, some genuinely great moments with randoms What surprised me the most was the community maps, people built technical parcours that were brutal to finish, took me forever to clear some of them but that's part of the fun Small package, tons of good times, worth it
