About Amy Hates Robots
In this action-roguelike, enter a post-apocalyptic world run by AI. While trying to get her TV repaired, Amy finds herself in a strange location where everything is trying to kill her, even the toasters. Team up with the mischievous and mysterious Hazel, some guy named Scott, and many more robots as you gain equipment and battle your way through an ever-shifting corporate tower.Helping you along your way is Hazel, an only slightly insane AI weapon with unique powers. Each upgrade is tied to one of her personality traits. Choose traits that match your play style to build the ultimate weapon. You can even mix and match traits to further customize your build!Enter the world of Robolithic Technologies, where everything has come to life and is trying to kill you. Investigate the mysterious ADAM as you try to survive staplers, scissors, sales reports, and... that other terrifying thing that begins with "S" (oh believe me, you'll KNOW them when you see them).Enjoy a fun and thrilling story as you jump, run, dodge, and do whatever it takes to not be melted into a puddle of human goo by an angry desk fan or chomped to death by a rabid stapler. Not every robot is trying to kill you, however. Some are quite friendly! Meet a quirky cast of characters who will help you along on your adventure. Like this guy. He seems friendly. He's just really concerned about your health and well-being.

What a lovely little run and gun! This is an enjoyable little rogue like platformer.3 found this helpful
Ok, this game is SHOCKINGLY addictive. We just couldn't RESIST! Every time we'd get TOASTED, we locked back in and SHREDDED some more. The characters were a BIT more witty than the average. The intensity just FANNED the flames of our enthusiasm. This game is a real STAPLE of our library. ....ok, we'll see ourselves out. It's really fun, though. Seriously. Don't SLEEP on it. Ok, we're really done now.2 found this helpful
A really fun game, with a lot to it. It has parts that remind me of classic arcade games, but it’s very unique. I like the art style, it really fits well. And the music is perfect. It has a good, well thought out story, with a lot of humor. Don’t miss the background posters. You can play through down different paths, which gives it good depth. And you get upgrades after each room that you beat, and there seems to be so many different kinds of them, the game seems different every time you play. Seems really polished and well designed. I definitely recommend it.2 found this helpful
This game is fun! About 2.5h and 1.25 areas in as I write this review. A foundation of simple action mixed with a solid upgrade system and a quirky, slightly-dark sense of humor and worldbuilding. The potential for exploiting the system is huge. HUGE. Play it if you like shooty-shoot action-platforming and finding your edge in the system.2 found this helpful
Very fun shooter game! I love the comedy and the goofy robots!1 found this helpful
Game was a great challenge but super fun! The perk system is super innovative and makes for some fun builds. I got frustrated at certain rooms in the 3rd area but overall I massively recommend the game. More info in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCguXSdIy24
