About Anomaly Exit

✦ AI summary

Anomaly Exit is a psychological horror spot-the-difference game where you're trapped on a looping train and must identify the one normal station among countless anomalies to escape. Play solo or team up with others using proximity voice chat to survive the lurking horrors and piece together your way out of this memory-testing nightmare.

You were on your way home one day when you realised the train was stopping at the same station over, and over again... at least you thought they were all the same station...

Taking elements from Exit 8 and I'm On Observation Duty, Anomaly Exit fuses the spot-the-difference genre with psychological horror. Additionally, the experience is designed with singleplayer and multiplayer in mind.

GAMEPLAY
- You only need to find one normal station to escape.

- If the station is as you remembered, exit the station, or else get back on the train.

- Take your time, remember the station... and don't forget it... something lurks in the tunnels...

- Hidden in plain sight. The anomalies are not subtle, but you need to pay attention.

- The station is small, but the anomalies are random and numerous.

- No cheap jumpscares. As long as you're paying attention of course...

- But you need to stay alert, avoid any strange beings in the stations, and avoid... the Anomaly Exit!

CO-OP MULTIPLAYER
The station is scary on your own, so team up with other passengers to try and help to remember your way out of the station together! Or you can go your separate ways, and see who makes it out alive.

PROXIMITY VOICE CHAT
Keep your fellow passengers in shouting distance, or you won't know what may happen to them in the other room...

This is a memory based game. So take your time, be patient, no quick reflexes required.
A headset is highly recommended!
Average playtime: 0.5 to 1.5 hours.

🎮 Worst Game Ever – Review Game: The Worst Game Ever Rating: ⭐ 1/10 I have played many games in my life, but this one is honestly one of the worst. The graphics look like they were made in five minutes, the controls are terrible, and the game is extremely boring. The gameplay is repetitive. You do the same things again and again, but nothing interesting happens. The enemies are not even challenging because they either stand still or do something completely random. Sometimes the game feels more like a broken experiment than an actual game. The controls are also a huge problem. Your character moves when you don't want them to, and sometimes the buttons simply don't work. I spent more time fighting the controls than fighting the enemies. The graphics are another disaster. Everything looks unfinished, the animations are weird, and some objects look like they were drawn by someone who had never played a game before. The sound effects don't make it any better. The music gets annoying very quickly, and some sounds don't even match what is happening on the screen. Overall, I would not recommend this game. It is boring, frustrating, ugly, and confusing. This is a decent Anomaly game, with 2 Maps and up to 30 Anomalies in each. The anomalies are well thought through and memorable, a great experience. The "no anomaly" ratio is very low, so you will usually find something, which is another good feature! Other anomaly game developers should take this as a good example of a fun anomaly game. It made me laugh in places, so highly Recommended! Anomaly footage can be found here: https://youtu.be/FBZH2_4HZz0
