Your entire playable space is a small workshop where you spend nearly all of your time. Right next to it are a tiny bedroom and bathroom, almost as if they exist just to make it seem like you’re not actually locked inside. Though, sometimes it’s hard not to wonder about that, because there’s no visible door leading outside. The only opening to the world is a small window where customers appear to place their orders. Your job is simple. Customers come to the window and ask for toys, and you can make eight different kinds. Even though the toys are different, the basic process stays almost the same each time. First, you grab a piece of wood from a crate and split it into three pieces with an axe. After that, you place the pieces on a marked spot on the table and use a saw to shape them into a rectangular block. This block becomes the main material you’ll use to create everything. You can drop or throw objects you’re holding, but the workshop is so small that nothing really gets lost behind anything. Apart hit me in a way I didn’t expect. On the surface it looks like a chill little crafting game, but pretty quickly it turns into this quiet, uncomfortable look at grief and obsession. Playing as Mike, an old carpenter who’s lost his family, you’re just making toys… but every order starts to feel like it’s tied to his past. The simple actions—cutting wood, painting parts, packing boxes—almost feel therapeutic at first, then gradually take on this heavy, eerie vibe as the workshop fills with darker details. What really got me is how the game never screams at you with loud jumpscares. Instead, it lets the empty workshop, the weird horror-themed props, and Mike’s situation sink in until you realize how lonely and off everything feels. It’s short, focused, and honestly perfect for one late-night session. This is a pretty chill game. I like the ominous vibe you get from the workshop especially with the rain that's in the background. I like the different personalities of each NPC and how they let us know what's going on in the town we're in. I was suspicious of the guy in the Red suit lol. Overall this is a chill game to sit back, relax, and just play.

A small game with a charming art style but the game play is lacking and the game just does not have much going on, and it has some jump scares that seem really random and out of place.

I'm going to leave a positive review because i like the vibe and theme of the game. That being said it is VERY slow. Like painfully slow and the building-toys aspect of it is very tedious making the 7 days in game a CHORE. Personally, I couldn't finish it cause it just dragged on too long and too slow for my liking, but again, the foundation is there for a good game. Just needs some pacing tweaks.
