Not satisfying.
This game transcends time with its absolutely on-spot storytelling and dialogue, solid gameplay, great progression and mostly interesting mission design. For a game with a more or less linear mission structure, there is a lot to discover and by the end of it you'll feel like you arrived after a long journey. Played this in 2007 and again on steam thirteen years later and was blown away by how well it stood the test of time. Your mileage may vary based on which language you play this in. It's just an interesting game with an interesting world and gameplay from start to finish. Some missions can be a bit frustrating, but nobody said it was going to be easy.

One of the strongest aspects of AquaNox 2 is its atmospheric world. The environments are vast and varied, ranging from expansive underwater canyons to claustrophobic cave systems and eerie ruins of sunken civilizations. Each level conveys a sense of decay and forgotten history, reinforcing the narrative backdrop of humanity’s fractured survival beneath the sea. The visuals, while dated by modern standards, were impressive at the time of release, with moody lighting, shifting shadows, and water …
Its an older game but still looks and plays great, also works out of the box on windows 11 AND supports widescreen and 1440p with zero changes. Graphics again still look great, controls are tight, gameplay feels modern, story is interesting, missions are varied... play it.
