About ArchRobo - Robotic Annihilation
This is ArchRobo, a top-down shooter. Featuring incredible visuals, 28 intense levels ranging from easy to incredibly challenging, with 5 large Bosses, dozens of enemies, and a plethora of creative weapons such as the Laser Sword, and Juggernaut power-up. Features 4-player co-op Survival, and 4-player Battle mode, each with randomized layouts for endless fun!
2D, retro, robot smashing fun. Influenced by Robotron 2084. If you're an oldschool gamer looking for some nostalgia, then this shoot-em-up might be the game for you!
Simple but challenging gameplay!

ArchRobo - Robotic Annihilation is a free to play 2D retro pixel top down twin stick shooter with a sci-fi theme. The game seems to have been built with Microsoft XNA studio. Gameplay consists of basic 2D top down arcade shooting. The game has a plethora of techical issues, and does not display properly on very high resolution displays, only the top left quarter of the screen is visible. This prevents access to the game configuration menu, so there's no apparent way to correct this game breaking technical flaw. It's apparent that sufficient testing on modern PCs hasn't taken place. The developer chose to use 2D retro pixel graphics instead of contemporary PC visuals. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent or both, regardless, the visuals are below acceptable standards. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts, especially con…1 found this helpful
Before I played ArchRobo - Robotic Annihilation, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Recommended if you have a controller. If you can get past the low budget graphics, audio and overall presentation, then you will find a neat little twin stick shooter. It features several levels that all feel a bit samey, but have some twists in the design. There is no story, just kill everything and find the exit. I used a controller, using a keyboard is really clunky. Yet, it is oddly addictive to clear the levels and find all the powerups. You fight bosses every now and then which adds a nice change and some of the weapons really change how you navigate the levels. For free, it's a fun little game if you are into simple retro shooters.
cant play at all, fail to load the game
