Astronite - Landing on Neplea

Do not waste your time, it's a dirty way of advertising a full game, there's not a single mention of a demo on the page and in the game, until the end of the game(i see the "Astronite Landing on Neplea is the prologue", but this is literally nothing). It's a demo, not even a demo, literally 5 min of a "gameplay"(2 min at MOST without death). I don't think you would even care what is this "prologue" about. [spoiler] Probably a 1-2 minutes of a cutscene, a minute of tutorial, 30 sec of searching for "equipment"(just a gun in this demo) and 30 sec of bossfight. Amazing, isn't it? [/spoiler]

It looks very stylish and unique

the only problem is the demo is very short but the game is cool , good atmosphere

Cute little demo of a Mostly Positive-reviewed game on Steam. Check it out! The prologue really sets the scene well.

This is a demo. I won't be playing the full game. In a mere 10 minutes of playtime, the narrative manages to be overwrought with purple prose and melodramatic dialogue. Normally, I could forgive that for exploration and stellar pixel art. The nail in the coffin, personally, is that the sprite physics are super sluggish. Traversal doesn't feel nice for 10 minutes, I can't imagine putting up with it for hours.

I can only give this demo a 6/10. Astronite - Landing on Neplea is a demo to the official Astronite game. It is a 2D metroidvania action/explorer platformer. Based on what I experienced, the game is fun. However, you can not customize your controls and you must play it with a controller. Also, what in the world is up with window mode?
