The first game in the Back series ~ . I like this one, it is a very short game that you can complete in less than 3 hours but there aren't many FMV horrors around and this one is not bad. The story is nice, the actress are great, it's an ok location, subtitles works and the cinematography is good. There are extras in the form of 18 pictures which would be nice but for some reason you can't just see the picture in full screen. Mystery Crown has a very identifiable style that I have to say doesn't always work. Long video, usually with nothing much going on in the scene and really limited gameplay with very annoying things like having to click for no reason things in a way that is (poorly) tricking you in to think you are playing and interacting with the game where you are not; very limited choices (in another game from them there's a 2 options choice that leads you to exactly the same results and literally plays the same) and so on. However in this case, while Back is limited, to me it felt like the most game play I got from a Mystery Crown horror and overall I enjoyed it. Made me want to play the sequels and I still want more games to follow. Hardly a masterpiece but if you like FMV…

More goofy than horrifying. It has some charm to it, but no challenge. Value is subjective, but it's very short even if you go for all scenes/endings, so I recommend picking it up on sale.

Gave me 50/50 choices, lost all 50/50 choices. 5/10 game, would peep again.

Short but enjoyable. The story is nothing special, and your choices don't really have any consequences, so it really is more of an interactive movie, but I thought it was enjoyable. It was also decently scary in some parts, the actual film making was pretty solid.
