Ballardo: Roguelike Billiards

I know it's early release but really you get the same relics and stickers ever run just luck really very repetitive

I'm honestly not sure what the point of this game is, but clicking any button means you win every time. It could not be less interesting. Visually, it's mediocre and flashes frequently, so take additional care if you're someone with epilepsy, etc.

Might be the quickest refund in my life. Has this been AI generated by a bot who didnt even get trained on anything pool related?

I bought this game because I love Roguelikes and Billiards. I was disappointed because the aiming is quite limited, the line that your cue ball shoots on snaps to the nearest ball and like little points on it that don't make much sense. Just when you aim ghost ball for a cut shot, the cue ball goes nowhere near where it showed you it was going to go, making aiming pretty much impossible. Once I was able to accept the fact that its just a ball clacking game it was fun but it didn't last long. The game crashed on me three times during my 20 minutes of playing, so even if I wanted to give it a shot I couldn't.

Have you ever played a game and wondered if the developers actually played the game they released to see if it was fun? Well look no further. The board is too big for the amount of bounciness on the balls (so there's rarely any chaos, even with bounciness stickers). The -1x multiplier holes are absolutely brutal. 1920x1080 is the max resolution, which is headache inducing. The ball guide is horribly inaccurate. etc. This is early access, so these things could definitely improve over time. As the game stands though, not worth it.

The game, as it exists today, is barely playable. Between negative multipliers, massive power-up disbalance, upgrades which are outright harmful, stats whose function is unclear, and occasional crashes, it needs a LOT more work before it even approaches "good". I would absolutely remove all base negative effects (negative hole and 8-ball), make the power-up that sucks balls into the hole after one gets in automatic (Black Hole Core; have powerups that improve the effect), make balls easier to get into holes, add some sort of combo effect to be able to get more shots, give better upgrades (+0.3 mult is amazing. +4 ball power is, uh, much less so), and add more variety to powerups. The scoring system is also... not great. You score points for collisions, which incentivizes smacking the ball as hard as you can... but you score mult for precision hits into the 2x hole, which requires an entirely different set of hits. Maybe accumulating points and mult over the course of the round would be a better idea, so you can focus on both?
