BATTALION: Legacy

Unfortunately BULKHEAD abandoned the game mid development and only offered refunds to Kickstarter backers, not Steam purchases. They "released" the game as free to play after it sat in early access purgatory for years, the game long dead by then.

I was hoping to have a short amount of fun, but it is clear that this game was meant to be nothing but an esports. Thus, when it is dead, it provides no amount of fun. You wanna play S&D with bots? No? Maybe you'd have fun in TDM, but you're limited to bolt-action rifles because the devs thought that is the only weapon type that takes skill.

Low player population but, it's free and more people should play this because if you ever grew up on old CoD 2 arena style FPS games then this is modern version of that.

game seems to be near to the time frame.

Only reason I know of this game is because of Bulkheads next title WARDOGS. But I wanted to see what the studio made since I was intrigued in their new title. All I gotta say is its well worth a free download. Gave me a refreshed WaW feeling in the bot matches. if you can convince some buddies to download and hop on a server then you may still have some good fun here! I had a great time testing weapons in bot matches. The maps, while small, were highly detailed and weapons felt nice. Hate that I didnt get to play it at its prime but hopefully Bulkhead gives us something awesome out of this unfortunate rubble!
