Bazaar

There is no "tracked motion controller" support in this game. All the vive controllers are doing is replacing a gamepad. This game's store page is very misleading. I like the art, but I cannot recommend unless the store page makes it clear that the vive controllers aren't even tracked.

Was gifted this game. You ride on a magic carpet on a mission to collect relics monkeys have stolen. You have to eat to stay alive, collect coins to buy stuff, collect arrows to use, use health to stay alive, avoid damage from various enemies including spraying water amongst other things. Use the umbrella to protect against spraying water. You look at what you are interested in and press trigger to grab or use. You can stand or kneel to play this because you do have to look around with your head a lot so sitting proabably is not recommended with VIVE. For the price it is a nice VR game experience. Reminds me of a rail ride at a carnival or hauntd house. It is good for the kids too I would say. Get it and hope the devs take all the good they have here and make an even better and bigger altogether new and different game. good price, BUT... makes me slightly nautious gets boring quick the carpet makes some sudden turns and flies diagonally at times which made me nautious the way the carpet flies back when looking behind yourself and how sudden it stops and starts also made me feel a little uncomfortable since i have to use my vision center to play the game, i cant look around and enjoy the game, too bad since the artwork is pretty nice its controlled by looking at something only, which is very slow and limited you run out of inventory slots quick some items i have in my inventory suddenly dissappear when im focusing on an item the carpet sometimes changes directions cause of the path im flying on, which messes up everything and i have to open the menu again too many items, too few inventory slots no story... levels are very repetitive gets boring quick

6/10 Good. Neat game, simple, easy to understand and get into. but can't find my self playing it again after 'one go' ( made it to lv.5, starved to death) but still, for its price, and at sale, it's a well made good VR game.

Great game. I had to abandon the game at the last level because the controls became rubbish. Why not use controllers?

Bazaar different and has a certain charm that won't see from watching the videos or staring at screenshots. As one of the earliest VR titles for Vive, Bazaar has always been on my list to try out. I'm glad I finally went back and bought this game. I think it belongs in everyone's library. You interact by looking around, but it's not quite as simple as that. You soon forget that's what you're doing as the game draws you in. The game unfolds at a really nice pace: it starts out deceptively simple, but before your know you're collecting and using all kinds of objects and uncovering new aspects to the game you didn't realize were there. Also, if you have a friend who say they aren't interested in trying out VR, Bazaar might just be the right experience for them. They can sit back and think there's nothing to do, but soon they'll be "doing" and interacting without realizing it.
