About Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery VR
Behind the Frame is a vivid, interactive fiction about an aspiring artist on the cusp of finishing the final piece of her gallery submission. Now available in VR, you'll be able to paint brushstrokes in a fully realized 3D space!
A relaxing, eloquent experience that can be played at any pace. Become immersed in a panoramic world filled with resplendent colors, beautiful hand-animated visuals, and a smooth, easy-listening soundtrack.
As a passionate artist, seek the missing colors that will bring your paintings to life - all while remembering to take the occasional coffee and breakfast breaks that keep you going. There is more than what meets the eye, for every painting has a story to tell.

Gameplay wise, not very good, while I don't mind most graphics in-game, all of those scenery scenes where you click around for events to happen are absolutely horrendous graphically. There is really no reason to play this VR alternative to the standard game, even for a heavy discount.3 found this helpful
Made me sad, also the VR port of the game sucks ass.1 found this helpful
A beautiful game mired in bugs to the point of being impossible to finish. Dialogue disappears quickly or overlaps reality in strange ways, music overlaps itself, critical progression items fail to spawn, things that should logically progress the game fail for no apparent reason and yet work the second or third try. I can only hope the game continues to be patched and eventually lives up to the original.1 found this helpful
awful port on VR, I never played the "normal" version, but VR one feels terrible. Ditched the game, won't be finishing it1 found this helpful
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is a lovely Anime inspired little puzzle game that was designed around 2D animation, which makes the 3D VR port/remake a curious decision as to why this was chosen to become a VR title, and you know what, I commend them for the effort to make it. It's not a perfect port by any means, but I think for VR diehards like myself this is good If a game has a VR version I will always prefer to play it in VR over flat. The Story is quite quant and sweet it's not complex it could be described as 'cozy' I suppose as with much of the gameplay it's not challenging and more just a bit of a vibe. Unfortunately, the visual were not perfectly translated into VR a lot of the 2D has been swapped out for 3D and the model quality is just not there its not horrible, but it loses a lot of the charm for it. The 2d animated cut scenes are gorgeous still though.
1 hour game, which tries to be a point and click adventure/escape room, but also has very nice art, animations, custom made music and charming story. But the logic of the puzzle is either braindead easy or makes CRAZY leaps of logic. This could be so good, but gameplay ruined it. Grab it on 90% discount if you want to look at nice things, are in a romantic mood and don't be afraid to check walkthrough to save you on loosing sanity.
