Good indie RPG!!!!!!! TRY IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 found this helpful
Beyond Galaxyland is a great indie RPG with a lot of heart. I had a great time exploring the different worlds, taking pictures of the wild life and different extra-terrestrials and completing the game. The fighting mechanics are simple but efficient. All the characters have a lot of personality (expect maybe Doug) and I really enjoyed the main storyline. The artwork and the music are also absolutely stunning! I recommend it. It took me 19 hours to complete the gane with a few side quests missing. I really recommend it.
The writing is poor but I enjoyed playing it.
i'm gonna be honest, i didn't expect much from this game, and the beginning was pretty mediocre. but slowly i started to like so much that i just didn't care about the flaws. it's not perfect by any means (you have no idea how many times the models would run in place during battle lmao) but i grew to love this galaxy and the characters in it. and i think most people will too!
This is a fun JRPG with a great use of parallax to take the pixel art to the next level. If you power through the game, it lasts about 10 hours and tells a likeable but predictable story. I definitely enjoyed the music and artistic details -- this goes far beyond regular pixel art and the active battle system gave it a fun twist. It's fairly easy on a standard playthrough, although I'm certain NG+ (and further) are more challenging. It stays fresh with varied gameplay, although I felt the summoning/capture system was very flat and not fully fleshed as a core mechanic. Definitely worth a playthrough if you enjoy JRPGs and would recommend at its sale price!
This one is a good-not-great little turn based rpg, the plot is a bit confuse for my taste, but i had a nice journey with Doug and his friends. Boom Boom is awesome. Maybe i should do more side quests to get more useful monsters to summon, cause you can beat this game only using your basic attacks. To sum up, this is a 3.5/5 game - play this without high expectations and you'll be fine.
