About Bitty Knight

Bitty Knight is a fast-paced, challenging 2D top-down mini-roguelike with random levels and 30+ powerups. No two plays are ever the same and it is completely free-to-play. The game centers on a tiny knight stuck in a small dungeon and you have to reach the final boss to escape.

Collect upgrades to survive as you make your way to the final level, there are no saves and if your character dies you will have to restart. Collect keys, unlock chests, find gems, kill enemies and shop to upgrade or smash power-up blocks to find loot and your way to the end.

Be warned, some loot has negative effects and collecting loot blindly can have consequences that will make the game much harder.

Note: if you have issues, find a bug or have something to say then please post in the Community Hub for assistance

Bitty Knight is a cool and short game where luck practically runs the whole show. Snagging treasure early can make or break a run and the fireball is particularly the strongest ranged weapon you can get. If fortune smiles on you, you can farm coins from the same switch multiple times, then stack fireball upgrades until you’re blasting in three or four directions at once. Buy rebound from the shop and the fireball becomes even more absurdly efficient. The alien and carrot assistants are surprisingly helpful, dealing automatic damage and cleaning up monsters while you focus on staying alive. The final boss, however, is brutally overtuned. It has a massive health pool and throws out long‑range spells and beams nonstop. One of its attacks even becomes a homing missile if your luck turns sour. Not every treasure is a blessing either — some are outright traps. The fish, for example, raises the water level so high that you’ll drown if you linger underwater too long. Despite the chaos and randomness, the game delivers a fun and fast experience with plenty of exciting moments.

"Bitty Knight" is a very poor quality ripoff of Binding of Isaac only with even more pointless procgen... this is completely contentless. What do you do in the game? All you do is walk through endless procedurally generated algorithm rooms, doing some badly implemented top down twin stick shooting. This is a badly done take on an already obsolete genre, and with extremely poor quality technical implementation... it's easy to see why this was a complete failure on Steam Direct. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers.…

I like this game a lot, but it suffers from the same issue this devs other game has (Mr snuggles dungeon adventure) - I found this game before Mr snuggles DA, but that game is even faster I think (or maybe it’s just that the space is more confined) Maybe the dev is some kind of super genius, and his brain operates at crazy speeds… but us dummies down here can’t keep up, so please lower it down a bit, will ya?

even only playing it for 15 minutes, this game is great, i really wish it was keyboard compatible, i have no problem getting my controller but i think it would be easier to access. The game is so quick pace, i love it! Although only getting to level 4 i think this game is great and i'm so glad its freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This is a really fun game. Slick and polished. Much respect to the developer, bang up job especially for a personal project free game! Better than some paid games here, that's for sure. So to anyone reading, stop reading now: It's a free game. Hit that download button and give it a play. Inspiring work - I've been experimenting with SFML, SDL, Raylib C++ libraries and it's awesome to see what Raylib is capable of. You certainly put it through it's paces here. Great job creating an atmosphere of frenetic and unpredictable action. Like the rising water, the 'secret' Mario style platformer sub-level where you gather coins, the missile firing Plants and Zombies style pea shooter that follows the player, etc. Also, the 'AI' for the enemies is great. Same for variety of power ups. Graphics and animation are solid, everything is fast and smooth. I love the switches that alter the lighting. So much good stuff you have going on here! However, I would try to make it more clear to the player how to use power ups and what they do. Make more gold available. I noticed these shops keep popping up with like 2-7 coin items yet I never have found more than a coin or two except in th…
