Blackout Hospital is a game where you play as Vasilis, a nonbinary janitor at Altobuck Hospital. When the power goes out while working the night shift, the emergency lights come on and bask the halls in an eerie, ghostly glow. Bizarre happenings start to occur at the hospital, and Vasilis wants no part in it as they try to look for a way out! Along the way they will fight off mysterious enemies, meet strange characters, and make a few allies--but will any of it mean anything if they can never return home?

a phenomenal free rpg!
absolute cinema. This game got me hooked up from the first chapter!! all the puzzles and events are well put together and the story is just so amazing. I had to spend sometime grinding for EXP but that is the only slightly annoying part, which makes sense if you ask me. All in all, a great game and a great experience. I would definetly recommend it <33
Really good game, just like every other ArcadeKitten game. The character information charts were a lovely touch, and every character is so captivating. Enemy designs are beautiful. Storyline is easy to follow. Vas acts as such an amazing protagonist, and they are fun to navigate the hospital with.
Tried this out on a whim because I was itching for something spooky and it looked pleasantly bizarre; ended up falling in love with the character design, and I found the story intriguing enough to keep going back to even when I got frustrated (which was mostly my own fault by not saving as often as I should, then inevitably dying and having to repeat something I just didn't want to do again). Overall, the game straddles the line between being pleasantly low-stakes, but also intriguingly dark and interesting, and things like puzzles and combat are usually just challenging enough to itch my brain and make me work for it a bit at times, without being incredibly frustrating or obtuse. I ended up looking up the creator and following them everywhere I could find them, because I find the setting and characters so endlessly fascinating and want to know more. My only real complaint is I want more.
Very fun and relaxing
