Blaster Multiplayer

It's early morning and I know nobody that wants to play this, and it didn't look like anyone else was playing either. Map design feels good, albeit familiar for reasons I can't place. Guns also felt pretty decent to handle. Ultimately without playing with other people I have no real idea of how good this could actually be. I can say that it works solo if you're happy to run around and shoot walls and stuff.

"Blaster Multiplayer" is a dead PvP tech demo (the developer calls it a "professional showcase"), but it looks a lot more like just another Unreal asset flip to me. Except there's no price tag on it, so they're doing asset flipping wrong. And as always I think if this was a genuinely made game it would have attracted more players... it never, not even once had enough players to make a full server. It was dead on arrival and it's still dead today. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. Like, there's a huge number of game assets here, and some of them very high quality... and others not. We're supposed to believe the developer created all these himself, alone, just for a dead multiplayer game? I'm really skeptical here. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too.
