About BLEED RUNNER
BLEED RUNNER is a 2.5D cyberpunk beat-em-up in which a lone knight fights an encroaching plague! Suddenly stricken with the disease, seek the cure on the mysterious spaceship and survive by grabbing, throwing, and pummeling enemies for blood!

It really surprised me. The only downside is how short it is. I downloaded it thinking, "Okay… is this a horror game? An action game? What did I just get into?” Everything’s in pixel art, you’re exploring what looks like an abandoned place… and then, 30 seconds later, full-on metal kicks in. Boom! Guitar riffs blasting, chaos everywhere, punches flying, enemies dropping left and right. You’re like, "This is awesome, I love this.” And just when you’re fully in it, when you’re smashing everything in sight, the game ends. You’re left there like, "No, wait, I want more. Where’s the rest? WTF?!” But that’s the whole experience. Short, chaotic, and fun.11 found this helpful

Pretty decent game, really good visual style and retro aesthetic Beat-em-up rush kind of game, one of those good ol´ games you´d have to slam your controller broken to get it beaten into submission. It could have been a retro game-jam winner, but as a Steam game I just feel it out of place and could have been more of a game out of this. I got death looped in the very first section of enemies and it´s not very intuitive on how you got to play it with minimal to absent clues into how to play the game. Once you get the flow of the gameplay you are skilled enough to progress, it´s defitely NOT gonna be smooth experience though, since you kind of HAVE TO DIE your way through the progression of the game. I still recommend trying it out as it´s worth giving it a shot, since it´s all just my own opition
A great short game that acts more like a proof of concept than an actual comprehensive game. However, from the inventive visuals and little gameplay that I have seen, I truly believe that the developers can make a unique and enjoyable experience if they decided to polish it into a longer game.
