Broventure: The Wild Co-op

Purchased for 2.50 euro during steam sale. Would say it is probably worth it even at 5 monies. Very solid bullet hell/heaven game that isn’t overly complex or convoluted. This would be an excellent first entry to the genre if you've never played IMO. One of the few that goes out of its way to explain how EVERYTHING works from the get go; a rarity in this genre from my experience. It is obvious when leveling which skills benefit from modifiers. 15.5 hours and I'm pretty much done with single player; missing a few achievements; mostly from co-op. 5 levels and each has 3 difficulties. Decent variety in character choice and skills/abilities. Fair progression in strength of armor sets that actually help but don’t make you too OP; exterminating everything on screen with little/no effort can still be at the mercy of RNGeezus. Art style gets 2 thumbs way up for me. Performance in single player, 4K, capped at 120 fps is smooth as butter even when things get hectic. R7 7700, RX 9070, 32GB 6000CL36, Samsung 970 EVO+ SSDs, CachyOS. Story is kinda weak, but you can’t get it all at this price point. Not really an end game, but for what I paid I am more than content. Very fun. Like Vampire Survivors but you also gather ressourses to build the home base/unlock equipment giving it a nice twist to the genre. Lite and chill.

fun game. Similar to Brotato if you ask me. Maybe the devs will give it more love and add to it. Give it a try.

Fun game. Keeps freezing when we reached the final level. Was never able to complete the game.
