About Brownie's Adventure

A fantasy point and click adventure in traditional 1990s style. Dark humour, player choices that have some impact on your outcome and hours of daft shenanigans.

- Over 70 locations from enchanted magical swamps to other worldly 'Dreggs' bakeries
- Thousands of lines of dialogue carefully laced with inane colloquialisms designed
to alienate the games already microscopic target audience
- Original musical score of 30+ compositions from orchestral arrangements
to North East Derbyshire Gangster Rapper: Johhny Tater
- An intriguing story of pilchards, potions and politics truncated with puzzles that
require some thought (or just read the walkthrough I guess)
- Alternate outcomes and wildly varying dialogue based on player choices that will
lead Brownie to greatness or shame, embarrassment and potential CCJs
   (county court judgements)

In this hilarious parody adventure set in a vaguely renaissance fantasy world you play as 'Brownie'. Brownie is a sub manager of a local pilchard press in his home town of Schtinkberg. A simple man, in the midst of a mid life crisis. He awakes from a terrible dream featuring his permanently angry boss and a poorly animated unicorn... the rest is up to you.
Follow the twists and turns of Brownie's adventure into our world (Well, Sheffield anyway) and beyond in the funniest and most ridiculous point and click to ever be solo developed by a middle aged hippy burnout. Hours of puzzles and laughs.
Make choices, solve puzzles and enjoy absurd dialogue. Remember: You will be judged!

A classic point and click adventure, with some ugly graphics, granted there are far worse out there, and the graphics can easily be overlooked if the rest was good. But sadly i found out it wasn't. I am suprised it only got positive reviews, and not even 1 bad, but if you look further a majority are with people that got <10 reviews in total and that stuff i always find shady. Pro's: -It's a classic styled point and click adventure. -The price is decent versus what you get. Cons: -Not much really good puzzling, the obvious items in the room are clearly visible (i guess that's a pro, if you don't like pixel hunting). -Game advertises dark humor, but there is really not much humor at all, the game tries to be funny but it's not. Cutting an eye out of a frog that is alive, stealing clothes from someone that is dying, and just a lot of swearing, that is considered the "humor" part. -Several achievements requiring different endings which makes it even more tedious to get 100% achievements, it's just a very cheap and lazy way to unnecessarily make the game "longer". On itself different endings aren't bad but don't tie achievements to it then, especially when the different endings are o…

It needs better sound design. Without it, it's just too rough around the edges for my taste. Graphics is like South Park f'ed Guybrush and had an ugly child. Not so terrible, but good either. All in all, play it if you're a PnC fan, and you really don't have anything else to play. I had so much fun playing this game, the sense of humor is totally unique and perfectly in-place for a point-and-click adventure game. Personally I love the degraded AI graphics with hand-drawn south-park-esk sprites - the focus is on the dialog and the story, and especially the Brownie the character. He is a perfect anti-hero. The game following in the footsteps of Monkey Island and other such class adventures, but gives it a moden british theme that is fresh and outrageously funny. One day, I hope this game is remastered to include voice audio, that will take it to the next level and make it accessible to a much broader audience too. Thank you for making this game.

I do enjoy leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in my wake. Not sure I needed to cause that many deaths, though

I loved this game. If you're a fan of dark British humour and point and click adventures, this is for you. It's Simon the Sorcerer with edgier humour and an even more hilariously unlikeable main character. It's a bit rough around the edges but for me that just added to the appeal.
