Bullet Inferno

"Bullet Inferno" is a laughably poor quality "bullet hell" game... but not a "shoot 'em up" because the developer couldn't work out how to make bullets/shooting mechanics in Unity. Like, imagine someone decided in 2025 that what gamers really wanted was a crap Galaga ripoff where you couldn't shoot. Thus "Bullet Inferno" was born. And immediately died because nobody wanted a crap Galaga ripoff where you can't even shoot. What do you do in the game? Just dodge stuff and try not to laugh at how bad the graphics are. The "game" here, such as it is, is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic, minmimum effort stuff, more like a 'weekend project' rather than a commercial/professional product... it's bad even compared to most amateur made games. An experimental piece... and the experiment is "can I spend $100 on Steam Direct and then call myself a game dev?" While that $100 spend on Steam Direct probably made the developers feel good about themselves, we have to ask why this kind of thing is good for gamers. The graphics here are particularly awful, straddling "minimalist" and "pixelcrap", so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking gam…

Very good game :) Well done, also happy to be one of your first reviewers :) I'm sorry to be honest but I never made it past very far past layer 3. I do not want to replay lust again, and constantly dying to unpredictable/undodgeable attacks is annoying. I'll throw some criticism here that i picked up while playing, sorry if it sounds rude :) General, Limbo, and Lust Lives symbol stands out, especially with the cyan outline as compared to the faded out text above Text is a bit blurry, gradient doesn't look that great on every piece of text Introduction text is a little blurry and hard to read Dying seems to be delayed from when you actually take damage In the first level(technically second, lust) the streams can spawn directly next to/inside of each other, looks bad when they're inside of each other. A little explanation that the bullet things dont damage you but just pull you into the wall would be nice A music/audio slider somewhere would be nice Side note - awesome music A slightly smaller player hitbox maybe Occasionally impossible level if you get unlucky An indication that you're paused would be nice Bullets are occasionally partially/almost fully off screen Hands clip into …
